文藻外語大學的Sandie羅宜柔老師和其他老師們，投入研究台灣布袋戲緣起和發展演變，發現無論是主角設定、個性或人生哲理，乃至於造型配件，都是經過精心設計！

台灣布袋戲由來，可追溯百年前，但在霹靂布袋戲創辦人努力下，持續發揚光大~

Now it is the vocabulary time.

The first word is manipulation. When we talk about controlling of the puppets, we can still use the word, control, but most of the time, I prefer the word manipulate, or manipulation because manipulate or manipulation tells the skill part while the word control may just tell how powerful you are.

The one that controls the puppet is called puppeteer. 字尾有ian, er 代表某種職業的人，但eer也是，such as engineer and puppeteer.

We all know one of the special features of Taiwanese puppet show is there may be many puppeteers, but there is only one speaker for all the puppets...  Sometimes, it is called narration, narrator. However, I would like to call them as voice actors, after all they are acting by their voice.
